WHO ARE WE?
The Cancer Sucks Classic is youth basketball tournament operated by 501 c3 Non Profit - Kids Always Matter & AOG events, alongside event directors Sullivan Carter & Franklin Johnson. This event is dedicated to cancer research and helping families, with 100 percent of the net profits donated.
In February of 2023, Sullivan’s dad, Cris Carter, was diagnosed with an aggressive Stage 4 Prostate cancer. Over the past year, Cris has battled and continues to battle every day. His original diagnosis showed only 4 months if lucky. Almost 2 years later he has made an amazing recovery, mainly due to the amazing people at Fred Hutch in Seattle, WA. While the cancer will never go away for Cris, his story shows the importance Institutions such as Fred Hutch have. He still struggles daily but Fred Hutch has given him time he may not have had!
The Event will be a 3+ Pool play to Bracket play tournament, located in Auburn, WA on Jan 11/12. Champions will take home an exclusive CSC T Shirt.

Single Location Event
$100 per team (All payments are tax deductible)
